Italienische Handelskammer München-Stuttgart (ITALCAM)
Italian Chamber of Commerce is a German no-profit association of industrial and commercial enterprises, professionals and traders who works actively to develop economic relationships in Europe, especially between Italy and Germany. One of the main objectives of ITALCAM is to increase the capacity and effective internationalization of SMEs. The role of the Chamber is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and the dissemination of best internationalization practices put into practice by different European nations. ITALCAM also provides assistance and advice on innovation and digitalisation, with the help of experts in the sector and thanks to its participation, for example, in the BE-READI ALPS project, which has the objective of reshaping at least 50 companies’ value chains, creating partnerships with Alpine Space (AS) players such as financial investors, export managers, digital start-ups and R&D providers that could bring in investments or open up new possibilities for markets/products/processes.
ITALCAM also has experience in the tourism sector, as it is responsible for promoting Italian tourism in Germany and vice versa, in collaboration with important local trade associations. Every year ITALCAM provides a full range of business services strictly related to foster the SMEs internationalization and innovation processes, among which market research, partner research, business analysis, import-export services, organisation of b2b meetings, legal services, workshops and networking events, participation at international fairs and European Projects. The Chamber is also constantly in contact with its European Network to plan and organize local and international business events. These activities represent an opportunity to strengthen trade relations and to facilitate the networking business among economic operators in the European market.
