LONGARONE FIERE SRL (LFD)

LFD has more than 70% of public shareholders (Province of Belluno, Municipality of Longarone, Union of Dolomite Towns, Veneto Agricoltura, Chamber of Commerce) and less than 30% shareholders are from the private sector (business associations). LFD is the only Fair of and for the mountains in Italy, developing the economy and the tourism of the Dolomites area (a World Heritage Site since 2009). Activities of LFD include the organization of fairs at national and international level, including B2B and B2C encounters, the organization of meetings, business conferences and events. Among the most important exhibitions with a link to tourism can be mentioned: Dolomiti Show (Tourism, Environmental Sustainability and Mountain sports); Agrimont (Mountain’s agriculture and agritourism); MIG (Ice cream); Expo Dolomiti HoReCa (hospitality and restaurants in the Dolomites). Through such activities, LFD involves about 2,500 exhibiting companies and around 140,000 visitors every year. With over 60 years of experience in promoting encounter among the private, public and third sector in different fields including tourism, LFD brings to the project its expertise in the field of B2B and business support. LFD is already active in supporting SMEs in the tourism sector in the Dolomites and will provide financial support to SMEs. It will also promote cross-sectoral cooperation and active cooperation with tourism sector stakeholders in the Dolomites and significantly contribute to the communication and dissemination of project activities and results.
