The second inspirational event, organised by Aarhus University, took place on 31 October 2022 in online format
The Department of Business Development and Technology of Arhus University held an informative meeting on the Call for Expression of interest for Digital Providers and on the Call for Proposals for SMEs of the Digitour Project, aiming to give more information to interested parties for the two types of innovation voucher.
The event was held on 31 October 2022 at Centre for Energy Technology, Aarhus Univer s i ty- Herning,Bi rk Centerpark 40, Room 115 (1st floor ), Herning 7400
During the discussion it was revealed to the organisers that in Denmark there were plenty of calls over the previous years that were focusing on the digitalization of the tourism (and other) sectors. For instance, for one of the priorities for our project, Cybersecurity, there was a voucher available for all SMEs of 50,000 DKK (approx.. 6,800 EUR) – still open to applicants – since the threat level for cybersecurity attacks has increased, the government decided to provide this voucher for small and medium businesses to help them upgrade their digital security level. The voucher represents an amount the SMEs don’t need to pay back. The message to the companies was that “you can use the voucher to prepare your business in case of ransomware; to train your staff so that the chance for the hacker to get access to your data lowers; to ensure that you are GDPR compliant; to prepare your business for ISO 27001 compliance; to get the new D-label that shows Danish customers/institutions that you have a high-security level and good data management and so on. You can get support from various partners on obtaining the grant and implementing it, at no cost for the SME”.
