The hotel has 15 rooms (1-5 persons) and 2 apartments. The hotel has a restaurant with a capacity of about 80 seats and a summer terrace. We have 2 lounges (20 and 65 seats) and a large hall with a capacity of 550 people. We provide catering and turnkey event organization.
The northern Boskovice furrow region has minimal self-promotion. The area is away from the main traffic routes and provides opportunities for active holidays away from busy places suffering from over-tourism. Accommodation and service providers in the region are looking for effective ways to attract new guests and introduce the region's offer. The applicants decided to support the development of tourism in the region by creating a regional guidebook site with national and international reach using modern technology to create, manage and distribute content on a global platform. The technology is scalable and enables the involvement of other stakeholders in the region, the development of collaboration and guest management. From the list of approved suppliers, the applicants selected ALPDEST CEE s.r.o., which represents the technology, platform and marketing outreach delivered by Outdooractive AG in the Czech Republic. The total cost of the project is EUR 20,000 and is equally divided between the partners involved. The duration of the project is 9 months (02/2023 - 10/2023). In addition, the partners will receive consultancy support in the field of digitisation and digital transformation of their businesses during the project period. Ultimately, the applicants expect an increase in interest in medium- and long-term stays in the region and in their facilities, an increase in occupancy rates and an offsetting of seasonal fluctuations. The demonstration of this benefit can be expected within 2 to 3 years. Visitation to the region is a prerequisite for the development of tourism in the region, the stabilisation of jobs and the development of other services in the tourism industry. The socio-economic impacts are therefore the retention and increase of jobs and the creation of new business opportunities in the region in the tourism industry.
The outputs of the project will be:
- developed content (POIs, tours, offers, events) in Czech and English or German
- a regional guide site with the possibility for guests to plan their own trips
- a guide page on the OUTDOORACTIVE.com platform
- integration of content into the project partners' websites
- dissemination and communication activities
The expected benefit is to increase the visibility of the region and reach out to the widest possible community of potential visitors, which will ultimately lead to higher occupancy of accommodation capacities in the region. The Outdooractive platform has a reach of over 13 million registered users. Of this number, there are approx. 40,000 users in the target countries of the Czech Republic and SK, and approx. 3.5 million users in German-speaking countries. The number of visitors to the platform is around 60 million per month. A well-crafted guide to the region:
- On average, it generates 0.5 content per 1 km2.
- The area of interest covers ca, 620 km2.
- The potential number of contents is 310.
- an average of 50* clicks per content per year
- the estimated number of clicks on the content is 15,500
- At a cost of one click in a comparable PPC campaign of approx. CZK 10, the marketing value of a presentation on the platform is CZK 155,000 per year.
The partners anticipate achieving this content performance within 3 years of installing the system and starting work on content creation. In the framework of the implementation of the submitted project, the partners commit to create 20% of the target number of contents (contents are descriptions: POI , trip itineraries, offers, events). In total, a minimum of 62 contents will be created.
